FCCU Begins Internship Program

FCCU is proud to announce the beginning of our new Internship Program. In recent years, FCCU has had a handful of interns work at various branches, but it wasn’t until recently that this became an ongoing program within the company.
Our Internship Program
An internship at FCCU is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
You will develop strong relationships and gain respected experience working in a not-for-profit financial institution.
Our program gives undergraduate students the ability to collaborate with professionals through hands-on work experience. We foster a team atmosphere where interns are treated with respect and their opinions are both encouraged and valued. As an intern, you will interact with multiple departments and leaders, work together on projects, participate in educational sessions and volunteer in the community.
What You’ll Need
- Full-time college sophomore, junior or senior
- Major in one or more of the related fields: finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, information technology, agribusiness, and/or business management
- 2.5 minimum GPA
- Work a minimum of 16 hours/week
- Summertime work hours are Monday-Friday
- Semester work hours are adjusted around your class schedule
- Successfully complete background check & bond verification
- Must provide proof of US Citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States
- Official internship through college or university is preferred
FCCU currently has two interns including one in Marketing and HR. We recently featured Tanner in a recent Intern Spotlight.
Riley, our Human Resources Intern says, “FCCU has honestly molded me into someone who is excited to work after school." FCCU was extremely flexible with my school schedule, and they were always willing to go the extra mile when school came first.”
Upcoming Internship Opportunity
FCCU has two exciting opportunities for internships within our company. The first is as an Agriculture/Commercial Loan Intern available for Spring or Summer semester in Jamestown, ND. The intern’s primary responsibility would be to assist with Agriculture/Commercial lending activities within the market. Activities include observation within various departments to include service and sales, credit analysis, and loan processing.
The second internship is as an Agriculture/Retail Loan Intern available for the spring semester in Napoleon, ND or Milnor, ND. The intern's primary responsibility would be to job shadow designated individuals to gain a general understanding of the position requirements of an Agricultural/Retail Loan Officer Trainee. Activities include observation within various departments to include service and sales, credit analysis, and loan processing.
